Job summary

Genius People in Sydney seeks a senior leader to head its Restructuring & Insolvency practice. You will steer complex engagements, leverage networks with lawyers and bankers, and develop a high-performing team. Your leadership will shape the Sydney practice and its strategic direction.

You will bring 8+ years in restructuring, CA/CPA credentials, and ARITA certification, delivering pragmatic, commercial solutions in high-pressure environments while growing the client base and market reputation.

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience in Restructuring & Insolvency at Big4, mid-tier, or boutique firms.
CA/CPA qualified; ARITA Advanced Certification highly regarded.
Proven track record managing major appointments and driving business development.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements.
Win and grow work through strong networks with lawyers, bankers, and referrers.
Mentor, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
Partner with national leadership to set the strategic direction of the Sydney practice.
Deliver pragmatic, commercial solutions in distressed environments.
