Job summary

The Andersen Partnership in Sydney is seeking an experienced insolvency professional to join our fast-growing restructuring & advisory team. The role focuses on high-profile distressed matters and commercial advisory.

You will lead financial modelling, forecasting and investigations, coordinate multiple workstreams, and engage with clients and creditors to deliver value. The role also involves coaching junior staff and contributing to BD initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of insolvency/advisory experience.
• Strong commercial and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and client engagement ability.
• Ability to take ownership and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Financial modelling, cash flow forecasting and feasibility analysis.
• Leading a diverse range of investigations and insolvency assignments.

An exciting opportunity has come up with a growing specialist restructuring & advisory firm.

The firm provides financial analysis, restructuring, turnaround and formal insolvency services, working closely with private creditors, secured lenders, other stakeholderson complex and often high-profile distressed matters.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced insolvency professional looking to move beyond traditional insolvency work and gain greater exposure tofinancial modelling and commercial advisory.

What you’ll be doing:

• Financial modelling, cash flow forecasting and feasibility analysis
• Leading a diverse range of investigations and insolvency assignments.
• Developing strategic solutions to maximise recoveries and asset realisations
• Working closely with the practitioner to organise and manage the completion of a wide range of appointments, while delivering quality service to all stakeholder
• Preparing reports and engaging directly with clients and creditors
• Overseeing formal & informal insolvency processes and mitigating risk
• Coaching, mentoring and directing team members to ensure their development and growth.
• Supporting business development and growth initiatives

What they’re looking for:

• Property/construction experience is highly regarded but not essential
