Job summary

Steamatic is hiring a Casual Restoration & Cleaning Technician in Brisbane. If you have cleaning experience, you’ll get regular hours, variety, and training to learn restoration skills.

You don’t need prior restoration experience—the team can teach you the restoration side. You’ll work across water, fire, mould projects, performing general and specialist cleaning, contents restoration, carpet cleaning, and setting up equipment, with support from an experienced team and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Experience in professional cleaning across environments is preferred.
• Ability to learn restoration and remediation tasks.
• Customer-friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks across residential and commercial sites.
• Assist with restoration and remediation work as directed.
• Clean and restore contents, including carpet cleaning where required.
• Set up and move restoration equipment and maintain work areas.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and adhere to safety procedures.

You don't need restoration experience.

What Does the Role Involve?

When homes and businesses are affected by water, fire, mould or other property damage, Steamatic helps get them back to normal.

You'll work alongside our restoration team carrying out a mix of cleaning, restoration and remediation work across residential and commercial properties.

Your work can include:

• General and specialist cleaning
• Cleaning and restoring contents
• Carpet cleaning
• Assisting with water-damaged properties
• Fire and smoke cleaning
• Mould remediation work
• Setting up and moving restoration equipment
• Working across different customer sites
• Following site and safety procedures
• Providing friendly and professional customer service

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in people with experience in:

• Commercial cleaning
• Industrial cleaning
• Carpet cleaning
• Property cleaning
• Hotel or accommodation cleaning
• Facilities cleaning
• Specialist cleaning

Previous restoration experience would be great, but it's not essential.
