Job summary

Steamatic is seeking casual restoration technicians to join our Sydney-based team. Roles involve flood, fire and mould restoration with training provided, and opportunities for permanent roles for the right candidates.

You will work on site, liaising with clients, inventorying contents, making safes, and performing basic remediation. A strong work ethic, reliability and safety awareness are essential for this varied role.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Experience in flood, fire and mould restoration desirable, training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication with clients onsite.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Completion of job notes on an iPad.

Responsibilities

• Assist in flood, fire and mould restoration tasks.
• Liaise with clients onsite and provide customer service.
• Inventory contents and perform packout.
• Make-safes and basic structural remediation.
• Carry out cleaning and labouring tasks.
• Complete job notes and reporting on iPad.
• Observance of safety protocols.

Skills and experience

Previous experience in flood, fire and/or mould restoration of damaged properties and contents desirable - if not we will train you

Liaising with clients onsite using exceptional customer service

Contents inventorying and packout

Make-safes, basic structural remediation, cleaning and labouring

Completion of job notes and reporting on iPad

Safety conscientious

Reliable with proven work ethic and outstanding customer service
