Job summary

Cleaning Restoration Services in Sydney CBD NSW seeks an experienced Area Manager for the restoration division. You will oversee multiple Restoration Supervisors, drive operational performance, supervise allocations, and manage client relationships across Greater Sydney.

A strong technical background and people leadership are essential. The role requires 3–5 years in restoration with supervisory experience, IICRC certifications, and a current White Card; a valid driver's licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Restoration Supervisors across a defined geographic area.
• Oversee job allocation, resource deployment, and personnel management across the area.
• Review and approve Scopes of Work and quotes for significant, complex, or high-value jobs.
• Monitor job performance, KPIs, drying goal attainment, and quality outcomes across all teams in the area.
• Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching and development of Restoration Supervisors.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical, client, commercial, and WHS issues within the area.
• Conduct phone, video, or on-site assessments and provide high-level technical instruction to field teams.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key insurers, assessors, loss adjusters, and suppliers within the area.
• Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff across the area.
• Report to the Restoration Manager on area performance, staffing, job pipeline, and operational matters.

About the role

The Restoration Area Manager is responsible for the operational performance of the CRS restoration division across Greater Sydney area. This is a senior management role with accountability for multiple Restoration Supervisors and their teams. The Area Manager maintains a strong technical foundation while focusing on operational oversight, people leadership, client relationship management, and performance outcomes across the area. They are a key escalation point for complex technical and commercial decisions and represent CRS to key clients and industry contacts within their region.
