Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is seeking Restaurant Team Leaders to guide restaurant colleagues and create thoughtful, memorable experiences for every guest. You’ll lead from the floor, coaching colleagues with warmth, confidence and care across breakfast, dinner and events.

Responsibilities include coordinating service flow, table allocation and guest requests, while maintaining high standards of food presentation, safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel leadership role.
• A genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead by example.
• A natural ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
• Good organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Must have current working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with confidence, care and a strong eye for detail.
• Welcome guests, build genuine connections and create memorable dining experiences.
• Brief and support colleagues before and during service.
• Coordinate table allocation, reservations, service flow and guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, beverage service, cleanliness and safety.
• Coach colleagues in product knowledge, service standards and confident guest interactions.
• Respond to feedback with empathy and resolve concerns professionally.
• Work with Culinary, Stewarding and other hotel teams to deliver seamless service.
• Support stock control, cash handling, opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with training, performance feedback and ongoing development of colleagues.
