Job summary

Palomar Sydney, renowned for bold Southern European and Levant flavours, seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to lead day-to-day service and uphold exceptional standards.

You will own service standards, develop the team, and ensure guest experiences are memorable while maintaining operational excellence.

This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within the 25hours Ennismore Accor group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of team lead or supervisor experience in large F&B operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and spoken Business English.
• Organized with proven ability to lead a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of RSA, hygiene and licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service to ensure a smooth, seamless shift.
• Connect with guests to create a welcoming, memorable experience.
• Be the menu expert on dietary needs and the beverage list.
• Monitor stock, inventory, and record breakages to maintain control.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene and licensing standards.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be a key leader in the day-to-day success of Palomar. Taking ownership of service standards, team development, and guest experience, you will help create memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence. You'll kick off each shift by making sure the floor is set, the team's ready, and everything's lined up for a smooth, seamless service;

You'll connect with guests, make them feel welcome, and leave a lasting memorable impression;

You'll be an expert on the menu, dietary needs, allergens, and the beverage list;

You'll keep an eye on stock and gear, set up systems to record breakages, manage inventory, and maintain control for the food service areas;

Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene, and licensing regulations - keeping everything above board and up to standard.

We are looking for you – with personality and that certain something …

You have at least two years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor capacity for large Food & Beverage operation within premium and luxury establishments;

You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications;

You possess a high level of written and spoken Business English;

You are extremely organized and have proven experience leading and motivating a diverse restaurant team in a high-pressure environment;
