25hours Hotel The Olympia in Sydney’s Paddington neighbourhood is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a vibrant, international group. Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and leading your section with consistency and care.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with front-of-house, mentor junior staff, and ensure food safety, quality, and presentation while minimising waste. The role offers development opportunities within Ennismore's global brand and employee perks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Good communication and collaboration with front-of-house staff and other departments.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership in your section, ensuring smooth service and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
• Execute the restaurant’s menu, balancing creativity, seasonality, and guest preferences.
• Maintain a consistent level of quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with the Restaurant team regarding availability of menu items and relevant changes.
• Maintain high levels of productivity while minimising waste.

• You have proven experience motivating a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment;
• You have a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and presentation;
• You possess thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices;
• You have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and other departments;
• You are able to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
