Job summary

25hours Hotel The Olympia in Sydney's Paddington district is seeking a Front Office Agent who can greet guests warmly, manage check-ins, and ensure memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will work with the Front Office team to deliver cheerful, efficient service in a lively, international hotel environment.

You have completed hotel business training, gained some management experience, and speak English fluently.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required for guest interactions.
• Management experience in a front-office environment is preferred.
• Training in hotel business demonstrates foundational hospitality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a warm, attentive check-in experience.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries with accuracy and a smile.
• Maintain professionalism during busy check-in periods and peak times.
• Assist with group check-ins and room assignments as needed.
• Operate phones and coordinate internal/external communication.
• Safely handle guest luggage and deliver items to rooms promptly.
• Convey tips about local venues and areas of interest to guests.

Housed within the iconic West Olympia Theatre, the hotel features 109 rooms and a collection of distinctive dining venues, including The Palomar restaurant, Jacob the Angel café, and Monica, the rooftop bar. From check-in to “see you again,” our Front Office team will ensure guests are happy from their first moment till their last. As the Front Office Agent, you have presence that doesn’t go unnoticed and love creating special moments for guests. Be passionate, be quirky, and model the service that 25hours is know to deliver in their cities.

What does your workday look like …

• Come as you are and always have fun with each other every day;
• Welcome guests and make sure they’re not just contented, but enthusiastic;
• Always keep your cool – even when guests turn up to check in at the same time;
• Handle credit cards, cash, and company accounts with care;
• Assist with preparation and communication of group check ins;
• Operate the telephones from internal to external requests;
• Securely store and deliver guest luggage;
• Deliver items of request to guest rooms at top speed.
