Job summary

PBS Chinatown Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD is seeking a Restaurant Manager for a premium Korean dining venue. You will own front-of-house and kitchen operations, report to Directors, and drive financial performance while maintaining top-tier service.

The role requires fluency in English and Korean, AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management (or 1 year of full-time Restaurant Manager experience), and full availability for rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or 1 year of full-time Restaurant Manager experience.
• Fluency in English and Korean is essential for leadership and coordination.
• Proven ability to manage restaurant financials, inventory, and staff rosters.
• Strong interpersonal and crisis-management abilities in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen leadership and coordinate with Head Chef and kitchen staff.
• Oversee restaurant budget, payroll, purchasing, and cost control.
• Direct front-of-house operations during peak service and large events.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure NSW Food Authority, WHS compliance and hygiene.
