Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking a Restaurant Manager for a premium Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in Adelaide to lead daily operations, ensure high-quality service, food and beverage delivery, and smooth front- and back-of-house coordination.

You will plan menus with the head chef, organise events, manage reservations, control purchasing and stock, supervise staff, and uphold WHS and regulatory compliance while providing staff training and maintaining a friendly, can-do culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold AQF Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, or minimum 3 years.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with friendly, approachable personality.
• Excellent customer service and reservation management.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning with head chef.
• Planning and organizing functions and events (with the event centre).
• Customer service including reservation management.
• Purchasing, managing budget and stock control.
• Supervision and management of staff.
• Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Provide staff training.
