Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, enhancing their dining experience, creating those tailored experiences Forge loyal relationships with guests to promote repeated clientele Handle guest complaints and feedback with a focus on resolution and satisfaction
• Act as an ambassador for our SBH values, ensuring every interaction with both guests and team reflects these values Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to ensure the restaurant is always presented to an impeccable standard Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage team members during the shift to ensure efficient operations
• Motivate, coach, and mentor the food and beverage team to achieve service excellence. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, and accurate stocktakes.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing labour costs, ensuring rosters align with budget and business needs Remain updated with the Food and Beverage departments budgets and targets and work closely with the Restaurant Management team to achieve these targets Always Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations
• Ensure all incidents and injuries are addressed immediately, documented, investigated and corrective actions implemented; Ensure Salter Brothers Hospitality Risk Management Policy, program and the application of sound risk management practices within the workplace and community are always observed and complied with

• Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry At least 2 years of relevant experience. Proven management experience working in hospitality/customer service environments.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and get results. Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills. Excellent presentation and grooming standards.

• Technical product knowledge in food and wine. Understanding of budgets and forecasting. Knowledge of POS and end-of-day reconciliation procedures
