Job summary

Kaprica on Grattan Street in Carlton is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations and develop a loyal staff base. You will be on the floor, connect with regulars, train and manage hospitality teams, and ensure smooth service during peak periods.

We value strong leadership, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance rostering, labour costs and guest experience, with ownership and autonomy under the owners' guidance in a relaxed yet

Qualifications

• Leadership demonstrated in managing front-of-house teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience training hospitality staff and supervising service.
• Strong understanding of rostering, labour costs and profitability.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive during busy shifts.
• RSA in Victoria is required.

• Previous restaurant management or senior FOH experience

• Confidence running a busy service
• Strong attention to detail
• A current Victorian RSA
• Good knowledge of food, wine and hospitality
• The ability to deal with problems calmly and make decisions
