Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is seeking a maintenance team member to keep the restaurant clean, safe, and ready for trade each day. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and supports both full-time and flexible part-time or casual arrangements, with late-night/early-morning shifts encouraged.

The day-to-day includes keeping the venue tidy, maintaining equipment, and ensuring outdoor areas are well-kept to welcome customers.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail required.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage own tasks.
• Highly organised with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, welcoming space for customers and staff.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe, well-functioning operations.
• Manage the restaurant carpark, patio and exterior areas including waste, gardens, signage and floors.
• Organise and clean back area including rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks as directed by management.
