Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is seeking a maintenance team member to keep both the inside and outside of the restaurant clean and inviting, ensuring the venue is prepared for trade each day. You will take care of cleaning, equipment upkeep, and exterior areas, enabling a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously, with availability for early mornings and late-night/early-morning shifts at McDonald’s.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Customers and the restaurant team.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is well functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including, but not limited to the bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.
