Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is seeking a diligent maintenance team member to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment each day. You will work with autonomy, focus on high attention to detail, and report to the Restaurant Manager.

The role covers internal/external cleaning, equipment upkeep, carpark and exterior areas, and ad hoc maintenance tasks. Shift start early to prepare the restaurant for trade; police check may be required; valid right to work in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for customers and the restaurant team.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is well functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.
