Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is seeking a Maintenance team member to keep the restaurant clean and ready for trade, both inside and out. You will help maintain equipment and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role typically aligns with full-time hours, with encouragement to apply for part-time or casual positions, especially if you are available for late-night or early-morning shifts. High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Customers and the restaurant team.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is well functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including, but not limited to the bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.
