Job summary

Sydney Children's Hospitals Network in NSW is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to lead the Respiratory Protection Program, developing and delivering fit testing training and coordinating assessments. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify educational needs and guide program improvements.

Qualifications

• Registration as a nurse with current practice required.
• Experience in clinical education and staff development.
• Ability to lead programs and liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and deliver SCHN Fit Testing Assessor Training program.
• Consult and liaise with internal/external stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Coordinate annual staff assessments and support new assessors.
• Exercise extended autonomy of decision making with managers and senior clinicians.
• Supervise and support RPP Fit Test Assessors.
• Contribute to SCHN RPP policies, procedures and standards.
• Contribute to evaluation through data collection and reporting.
