Job summary

NSW Health’s Hills Community Health Centre seeks a Child and Family Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS2) to lead specialised perinatal and infant mental health care. You will support vulnerable women and families, provide expert assessments and care planning, and lead multidisciplinary teams across The Hills and Western Sydney sites.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health Nursing and Perinatal/infant mental health or working towards completion within 12 months.
• Minimum 3 years full-time equivalent clinical experience in child and family health or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to practice to RN Standards of Practice and professional codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical leadership across Child and Family Health services.
• Support women, infants and families experiencing psychosocial vulnerability through assessment and intervention.
• Deliver perinatal and infant mental health assessments, care planning and targeted interventions.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Mentor and support clinicians to strengthen capability and service quality.
• Identify and manage clinical risk while delivering family-centred care.
