Job summary

Hastings Deering is seeking a highly organised Resource Industries Sales Support Coordinator to join our Mining Sales team in Archerfield, Brisbane. You will coordinate new mining equipment orders, manage supplier information and ensure accurate financial processes while supporting customer programs.

This permanent, Monday to Friday role focuses on data accuracy, efficient administration and cross-team collaboration to keep projects on track and customers supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration/co-ordination/customer service or support roles.
• Excellent data accuracy and documentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office suite.
• ERP experience (MS Dynamics AX) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment orders and support coordination of new mining equipment purchases from Caterpillar.
• Maintain accurate records across sales, inventory and financial systems.
• Prepare and process documentation including purchase requisitions, claims and supplier information.
• Support sales administration activities to help ensure projects and orders progress smoothly.
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers for delivery, pricing and shipment information.
• Process rebate and pricing program claims per procedures.
• Monitor data quality and system updates to ensure records are accurate and compliant.
• Provide general administrative support to the Mining Sales team as required.

We’re looking for a highly organised Resource Industries Sales Support Coordinator to join our Mining Sales team based in Archerfield, Brisbane.

In this role, you'll be the central coordination point for new mining equipment sales administration, ensuring equipment orders, supplier engagement, financial processes and customer support programs are managed accurately and efficiently. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday opportunity.

What you'll be doing

• Process equipment orders and support the coordination of new mining equipment purchases from Caterpillar.
• Maintain accurate records across sales, inventory and financial systems.
• Prepare and process documentation including purchase requisitions, claims and supplier information.
• Support sales administration activities to help ensure projects and orders progress smoothly.
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to obtain delivery, pricing and shipment information.
• Process rebate and pricing program claims in line with established procedures.
• Monitor data quality and system updates to ensure records remain accurate and compliant.
• Provide general administrative support to the Mining Sales team as required.

What you'll need

• Previous experience in an administration, coordination customer service or support role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with data and documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• An interest in business and financial performance, with the ability to analyse information, understand key metrics, and apply insights to day-to-day work.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar) is desirable, but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
