Job summary

REMA TIP TOP is seeking a Resource Coordinator to join our Perth team, driving resource allocation for mining and industrial projects. You will coordinate personnel, vehicles and schedules, working closely with department heads to forecast needs and ensure efficient deployments.

Ideal candidates will bring proven planning, Excel proficiency and effective communication skills to a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Resource Coordination role within mining or resource sectors.
• Ability to forecast needs 16 weeks ahead and allocate resources accordingly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Resource management: allocate personnel and vehicles to projects for optimal utilization.
• Coordinate with department heads to forecast resource needs and prepare allocation plans.
• Maintain schedules, rosters and crew databases.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders on labor schedules and requirements.
• Track and report on daily, weekly and monthly bases.

Reporting to the Services Manager, your role as a Resource Coordinator will encompass the following duties:

• Resource Management: Allocation of resources including personnel, vehicles to projects based on requirements, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
• Coordination: Work closely with department heads to forecast resource needs and develop comprehensive resource allocation plans.
• Maintaining schedules, personnel rosters and crew database
• Communication: Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding work schedules and labour requirements
• Tracking and reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

About You

Previous experience gained in a Resource Coordination role or similar role within the Mining and Resource industry.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a workforce
• Ability to Plan, use initiative and critical thinking
• Forecast 16wks ahead
• Adaptable to Change
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and general administration skills across Microsoft
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Team player and capable of working autonomously
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Mining systems experience, ERMS, SPEAR, Roster Manager, Pegasus – desirable
