Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Officer to perform maintenance tasks across the property, ensuring day-to-day functionality and asset protection.

You will work with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor and other departments to minimise disruption to guests while upholding safety and hospitality standards. The role requires practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical repairs, plus routine PMs and reactive maintenance leveraging MEX CMMS.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical repairs.
• Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Available on-call to address maintenance issues as they arise.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and respond to guest and staff requests promptly.

Responsibilities

• Performs apartment and room maintenance checks and repairs.
• Participates in maintenance team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Use MEX to attend to reactive maintenance (Job Requests).
• Execute minor projects and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out stock checks and manage materials catalogue.
• Close off Work Orders and document labour and costs.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments to minimise guest disruption.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to energy-saving initiatives.
