Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Officer to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department at our Torquay resort. You will maintain resort rooms and amenities, manage inventories, and support grounds and gardens upkeep.

In this role you’ll handle preventative maintenance, complete related paperwork, and assist with housekeeping tasks as required. A flexible roster including weekends and holidays is expected, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role is desirable.
• Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles.
• Ability to manage grounds and garden tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Polite and friendly interaction with owners and guests.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance of resort rooms and amenities.
• Maintain inventories and equipment; execute preventative maintenance.
• Care for resort grounds and gardens.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as required.
• Complete department paperwork and records.
