Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Officer to perform maintenance tasks throughout the property, addressing all repair needs and day-to-day functionality while protecting the asset and ensuring long-term viability.

You will work under the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor and collaborate with other departments. Key duties include checks and repairs to apartments and rooms, preventative maintenance, capital works, and managing the assets register.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and electrical repairs.
• Hold a valid Driver’s licence.
• Moderate computer skills to use MEX daily.
• Experience with pool and spa maintenance.
• Deliver customer service to owners and guests.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs apartment and room maintenance checks and repairs.
• Participate as a member of the Maintenance Team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Utilise MEX to attend reactive maintenance (Job Request).
• Execute minor projects and preventative maintenance/inspections.
• Assist in managing the Assets Register and stock levels.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and Food & Beverage to minimise guest disruption.
