Job summary

Palm Lake Resort Yamba is seeking a committed Groundskeeper to maintain our resort gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a pristine standard for residents and visitors year-round. This full-time role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a hands-on approach.

You should have relevant gardening experience; a Cert III Horticulture (or equivalent) is advantageous, and an ACDC chemical licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Relevant gardening experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
• ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hedge & tree trimming.
• Mowing, edging & whipper snipping.
• Control weeds and pests through herbicides.
• Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of vegetation.
• Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including irrigation maintenance.
• Oversee outdoor presentation of facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance.
• Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order.
