Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking a committed Groundskeeper for Palm Lake Resort Beachmere Bay to maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas. This full-time role operates 38 hours weekly, 6am–6pm, Monday to Friday, performing hands-on grounds maintenance to keep resort grounds pristine for residents and visitors year-round.

Ideal candidates have a C class driver’s licence, proven gardening experience, and a relevant horticulture qualification.

Qualifications

• Relevant gardening experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
• ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hedge & tree trimming
• Mowing, edging & whipper snipping
• Control weeds and pests through herbicides
• Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation
• Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including irrigation
• Oversee the outdoor presentation of facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance
• Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order
