Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking a committed Groundskeeper to join the Palm Lake Resort Bargara team, maintaining gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a high standard for residents and visitors year-round.

This part-time role is 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, offering a hands-on environment with training and development within a proud Australian, family-owned company that values respect, safety and community.

Qualifications

• Relevant gardening experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
• ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hedge & tree trimming.
• Mowing, edging & whipper snipping.
• Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides.
• Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation.
• Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including watering and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Oversee the outdoor presentation of all facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance
• Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order.
