Job summary

AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support our Maintenance department on a full-time basis in Australia. You will coordinate maintenance across the property, lead a small team, and ensure high standards of safety and service.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, liaise with contractors, manage stock and scheduling, and work closely with the Hotel Manager on team development and recruitment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in hotel environments.
• Experience supervising or supporting a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Trade or building qualification highly regarded.
• Experience liaising with contractors and coordinating with service providers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program for optimal property performance.
• Supervise and support two Maintenance Officers.
• Provide hands-on repairs and maintenance across the property as required.
• Oversee key service areas (electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security, hydraulic, contractor works).
• Ensure WHS compliance in all activities.
• Assist with stock control and supplier coordination for efficient operations.
