Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join Palm Lake Resort Waterford team on a 20-hour per week schedule, with shifts between 6:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on maintaining clean, welcoming common areas for residents and visitors.

You will perform general cleaning, dusting, mopping, waste removal, stock replenishment, and safety checks, contributing to a tidy, safe resort environment and excellent resident experience.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience in a commercial environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule effectively.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas such as pool room, office, gym, clubhouse, and library.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and remove rubbish daily.
• Ensure toilets are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
• Clean internal windows and spotless equipment like refrigerators and microwaves.
• Tidy kitchen areas, empty dishwashers and wipe surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as coffee, tea and other consumables.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe environment.
• Clean stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Perform weekly tasks like cleaning light switches and dusting cobwebs.
• Undertake other cleaning duties as directed by resort managers.
