Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Emergency & Operational Resilience Manager to lead emergency management, resilience, business continuity, risk and security across Service Delivery. This senior role reports to the Group Manager Operational Planning & Performance and focuses on preventing, responding to and recovering from operational disruptions.

You will drive preparedness, coordinate training and incident response, and build partnerships with government agencies, emergency services

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency management within critical infrastructure or essential services.
• Accreditation in incident management (AIIMS, ICS) or equivalent.
• Understanding of ISO 22301, ISO 31000 and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead emergency management, preparedness, and response planning.
• Coordinate training, exercises and incident management capability development.
• Advise during emergency events and support incident response activities.
• Oversee service delivery risk frameworks and business continuity.
• Drive resilience planning, threat assessments and scenario exercises.
• Lead reporting and continuous improvement on resilience and security.
