South East Water is seeking an experienced Safety, Standards & Practices Manager to elevate safety culture and lead the development of safety and operational standards across the Service Delivery group.

You will drive governance, document control and knowledge management, while coaching a team across standards, training and project management. The role includes delivering training on compliance and safety and forming audit programs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and risk management principles.
• Experience in standards governance, quality management or operational excellence.
• Experience leading process reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop and implement standards and governance frameworks.
• Stakeholder engagement, coaching and change management skills.
• Analytical capability to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Experience developing executive reports and dashboards.
• Certifications like CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, governance and improvement of Service Delivery standards, processes and documentation.
• Establish and maintain a centralised documentation library.
• Partner with subject matter experts to capture operational knowledge and embed knowledge management.
• Manage document control and information systems with governance and version control.
• Lead, coach and develop a team across standards, practices, training and project management.
• Facilitate root cause investigations and improvement initiatives after incidents or risks.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and visual management tools for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Service Delivery, People, Safety & Governance to deliver training on compliance and safety.
• Establish audit and assurance programs to monitor compliance and drive corrective actions.
