Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Safety, Standards & Practices Manager to strengthen safety culture and lead the development of standards, procedures and training across our Service Delivery group.

You will partner with SMEs to capture operational knowledge, manage documentation, and drive governance and performance reporting while leading a team across standards, training and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001 or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience leading process reviews and root cause investigations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement standards, procedures and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, governance and continuous improvement of Service Delivery standards, processes and documentation.
• Establish a centralised documentation library and ensure version control.
• Coach and develop teams across standards, training and project management functions.
• Facilitate root cause investigations and improvement initiatives after incidents or failures.
• Develop operational dashboards and visual tools to support data-driven decisions.
• Deliver training programs covering compliance, safety and operational capability.
