EDGE Consulting Engineers in Canberra is seeking an experienced Structural Manager to lead our residential team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, shape strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery across a busy portfolio.

You’ll develop people, manage client relationships, and drive workflow across the Canberra function with autonomy and support from Directors. The role combines leadership and technical oversight in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years' experience in residential structural consulting.
• Proven leadership as a Structural Manager, Team Lead, Senior Engineer, or similar.
• Experience managing residential engineering teams.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia (or near Chartered).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Canberra residential structural function and grow the team.
• Own workflow and ensure clarity and efficiency.
• Strengthen client relationships and maintain communication.
• Manage financial targets and forecast workload.
• Represent EDGE in residential industry forums and stakeholder meetings.
