Job summary

DSC Personnel is seeking a motivated Foreman or Junior Site Manager for major residential construction projects across the Northern Beaches. The role offers hands-on site leadership, coordinating trades, safety, quality, and reporting, with ownership of site operations in the absence of senior management.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in residential construction, current White Card, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

Experience as Foreman/Leading Hand or Site Manager.
Strong background in residential construction.
Understanding of site safety, compliance and documentation.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of site activities.
Strong organisational, communication and reporting skills.
Current White Card and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

Assist with the overall day-to-day management of residential construction projects.
Coordinate and manage trades and subcontractors on site.
Open and close sites as required.
Coordinate daily site activities and ensure works progress in line with the project program.
Manage trade sequencing and ensure works are completed in the correct order.
Monitor workmanship, quality and completion of trade works.
Ensure contractors are working within their agreed scope of works.
Track trade progress, outstanding works and project requirements.
Maintain accurate daily site reports, work logs and project documentation.
Monitor project timelines and identify potential delays or issues.
