Job summary

NFP People is seeking an experienced homelessness and complex needs professional to lead a residential support service in Brighton. You will manage a dedicated staff team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support in a trauma-informed environment while safeguarding and managing risk, health and safety, and housing matters.

The service will demobilise at contract end in 2027. You’ll collaborate with commissioners and partners, coordinate on-call and weekend presence, and ensure residents move

Qualifications

Experience leading support services for vulnerable people with complex needs.
Strong safeguarding, risk management and health and safety knowledge.
Residential services experience and awareness of housing legislation.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop the staff team with supervision, performance and wellbeing.
Ensure residents receive effective, person-centred support with reviewed plans.
Embed trauma-informed approaches across the service and safeguard residents.
Manage safeguarding, risk, health and safety and crisis response.
Oversee referrals, housing management, voids, arrears and licences.
Monitor outcomes, quality standards and contractual performance.
Build relationships with commissioners and partner agencies.
