Job summary

Newmont Cadia is seeking a Supervisor Engineering Mining to lead engineering delivery for block cave projects near Orange, NSW. You will coordinate handovers, support operational implementation and ensure safe, efficient project execution within a residential, drive-in, drive-out operation.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree, a current driver’s license and extensive underground mining experience, with proficiency in mine planning software such as Deswik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
• Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Experience in underground metalliferous mining environments.
• Experience with mine planning and design software such as Deswik.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering deliverables across Studies, Projects, Technical Services and Operations to ensure execution readiness.
• Act as the primary engineering interface supporting transition of project outcomes into operations.
• Support planning, scheduling and forecasting for safe cave ramp-up and project delivery.
• Deliver mine designs and engineering outputs for underground development and production activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and improve delivery outcomes.
