Job summary

Newmont Corporation is seeking a Supervisor Engineering Mining to lead engineering delivery for Cadia Block Caves projects near Orange, NSW. You will coordinate handovers, support planning and ensure safe, efficient cave development and production activities.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree, extensive underground mining experience, and strong stakeholder engagement. Relocation assistance is provided; roster is 5/2 or 9-day fortnight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, with relevant underground mining experience preferred.
• Experience engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders and coordinating with Operations, Technical Services, Studies and Projects.
• Strong project management, risk management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with mine planning/design software such as Deswik.
• Residential role based at Cadia Operations near Orange, NSW with relocation assistance.
• Roster: 5/2 or 9-day fortnight.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical handovers between Studies, Projects, Technical Services, and Operations to ensure engineering work is execution-ready.
• Act as the primary engineering interface to transition project outcomes into operations.
• Support planning, scheduling and forecasting for safe cave ramp-up and project delivery.
• Deliver mine designs and engineering outputs for underground development and production activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and optimize engineering processes.
