Outdoor School - 15 Mile Creek in North East Victoria is seeking a classroom teacher to deliver high-quality programs in a residential outdoor education setting. You will work with students to implement the Victorian curriculum, plan lessons, and use data to inform teaching practices while building strong relationships with students and staff.

The role involves teaching across ranges, supporting school priorities, mentoring staff, and contributing to school policies and professional learning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level knowledge of the relevant Victorian curriculum and capacity to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students in a residential outdoor school setting.
• Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with both students and staff.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing key components of the Victorian Teaching and Learning model (VTLM).
• Demonstrated experience in using data to inform your teaching practice and providing feedback on student learning and achievement to both students and parents.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
