Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a respected client to recruit a permanent, full-time Contract Administrator for multiple apartment construction projects across the Gold Coast, Queensland. You will support the commercial delivery from procurement through to final completion, ensuring contractual and cost objectives are met.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in contract administration within Australian construction, a tertiary qualification in a related field, and strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian construction industry.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using construction management and project administration software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial delivery of residential construction projects from procurement through to final completion.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including scope preparation, tender evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess and process progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and subcontractor payments.
• Maintain commercial documentation, procurement schedules, cost reports, and project registers.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure contractual and commercial objectives are achieved.
