Job summary

Haste Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded construction and development business delivering multi-residential projects across SEQ. They seek an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team on the Gold Coast.

You will own key commercial duties and develop your skills across contract administration, procurement and project delivery, working with the Project Manager and senior team to ensure smooth contractual delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction industry.
• Degree in Construction Management, QS, Building or Engineering.
• Experience working for a head contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day contract administration of construction projects.
• Prepare, review and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Manage variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Review scopes of work, quotations and tender submissions
• Prepare and maintain project cost reports, registers and documentation
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support the Project Manager with commercial and contractual matters
• Ensure contractual obligations and project documentation are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Take ownership of allocated commercial packages and contribute to successful delivery
