Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a well respected client to recruit a permanent, full-time Contract Administrator for multiple apartment construction projects on the Gold Coast, Queensland. You will support the commercial delivery from procurement through to final completion, tracking budgets and managing subcontractor procurement.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience as a Contract Administrator in Australian construction.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using construction management and project administration software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial delivery of residential construction projects from procurement through to final completion.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including scope preparation, tender evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, commitments and cost performance.
• Assess and process progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and subcontractor payments.
• Maintain commercial documentation, procurement schedules, cost reports and project registers.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to achieve commercial objectives.
