Contracts Administrator – High-Impact $160M Multi-Residential

Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a highly regarded construction business to deliver a landmark $160M multi-residential tower in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. An experienced Contracts Administrator will join the project team and help drive the commercial delivery from construction through to completion.

Working with the Project Manager and senior commercial team, you will own subcontract administration, procurement, cost reporting and project reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial construction.
• Experience on multi-residential, high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of subcontract administration, procurement, variations and progress claims.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end administration of subcontractor packages across the project.
• Lead procurement, tender analysis, scope reviews and subcontractor negotiations.
• Manage variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contractual correspondence.
• Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Support the broader project team with commercial advice and contract administration.
