This role suits a highly organized professional with at least three years' experience in the Australian residential construction industry, responsible for coordinating projects from pre-construction through occupancy and acting as the main contact for clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in Australian residential construction administration.
• Experience preparing building permit and occupancy permit documentation.
• Experience coordinating contracts and variations.
• Strong reading of residential plans and construction documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during pre-construction and construction stages.
• Provide project updates and respond to client enquiries professionally.
• Prepare residential construction contracts and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate contract signing and ensure all documents are completed accurately.
• Lodge building permit applications and liaise with contractors, consultants and surveyors.
• Coordinate occupancy permit documentation and handover.
• Track progress of approvals and permits.
• Maintain accurate electronic project files and client records.
• Coordinate client variations and pre-construction requirements.
