Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team in remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland. The role is full-time and involves hands-on supervision to ensure facilities are clean and compliant with contractual obligations.

The position operates on a 14 days on, 10 days off FIFO schedule, with drive-in drive-out logistics. You will train, motivate and work alongside the team to deliver high standards and a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Mine Site and housekeeping cleaning experience highly regarded.
• Commercial experience in hotel, mining, or resort environments preferred.
• Ability to lead a successful team with ownership of overall performance.
• Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for training and procedures.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to work on our remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland.

This role is 14 days on, 10 days off 10 day and is drive-in, drive-out.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role- Mine Site and Housekeeping Cleaning experience will be highly regarded
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
