Job summary

Rivina Recruitment is seeking air-conditioning technicians and installers for residential work across Brisbane. You will install and service systems in customers’ homes, focusing on tidy workmanship and clear communication with homeowners.

We offer a full-time Brisbane-based opportunity with an hourly rate up to AU$60, plus a company vehicle and fuel card. Tell us what you do best and we will fit you to the role. Training and development are provided with experienced tradespeople.

Qualifications

• AC or refrigeration qualifications and current licences.
• Residential installation or service experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace air-conditioning systems in customers’ homes.
• Provide servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.
• Test installations and ensure a clean, well-finished result.
• Explain work clearly to homeowners and keep accurate job records.
• Collaborate with apprentices and support their development.

Pay and package

• Up to $60 per hour, depending on the role, qualifications and experience.
• Company vehicle and fuel card, with arrangements discussed for the position.
• Full-time Brisbane-based opportunities.

The work

Depending on the position and your strengths, your work could include:

• Installing and replacing air-conditioning systems in customers’ homes.
• Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.
• Testing your work and leaving a clean, well-finished installation.
• Explaining the work clearly to homeowners and keeping accurate job records.
• Working with apprentices and supporting their development where appropriate.

You do not need to be equally experienced in installation and service. Tell us what you do well and the type of work you would like to focus on.

What you will bring

• Relevant air-conditioning or refrigeration qualifications and current licences appropriate to your work.
• Practical residential installation or service experience.

Installers and Certificate III refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians are welcome to apply. We will discuss your qualifications and experience against the duties of the relevant position.

Work alongside experienced tradespeople, with training and development discussed around your skills and interests. We will talk through the work mix, hours, travel, team support and package before putting you forward.
