Job summary

Opal HealthCare invites applications for a Bus Driver at Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe Care Community. You will help run the residents' lifestyle activities, support mental well‑being, and work with volunteers to deliver transport and outdoor programs.

Role requires a current bus license, prior bus driving experience, and a recent police check. You will contribute to a safe, respectful community while upholding Opal values and guidelines.

Qualifications

• A current motor vehicle, passenger bus license (as required by the State or Territory in which you are driving) must be maintained at all times.
• Previous passenger bus driving experience.
• Current police check (within last 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery of lifestyle programs to support residents' mental health and quality of life.
• Follow Opal values, policies, procedures and practices to ensure professional behaviour.
• Assist with the orientation and training of volunteers for transport and outdoor activities.
• Maintain a BAC and illegal drugs level of zero during working hours or when called into work.
• Ensure vehicle inspections, registrations and pre-start checklists are completed as required.
• Provide friendly, engaging service and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
