Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a passionate Social Activities Coordinator for Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe, Neutral Bay, Sydney. You will design, plan and run engaging social events and bus outings for residents, building a vibrant community and enriching their daily lives.

You will collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager and care team to tailor activities to residents' interests and abilities, fostering connection and joy within our aged care community.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering social activities for residents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• Ability to tailor activities to diverse resident interests and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a calendar of social events and outings.
• Engage with residents to understand interests and tailor experiences.
• Create a vibrant, connected community atmosphere in the home.
• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager and care team to support wellbeing.
• Build relationships with volunteers and local groups to enhance offerings.
