Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a kitchen-focused role within our aged care homes in Australia. You'll prep food, assist with meals, and help maintain a clean kitchen. You will work closely with our team and residents to create meals that cater to individual needs.

The role requires strong time management, planning, and a genuine desire to make a difference in residents' lives. Prior kitchen experience is valued; Basic Food Handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care experience is a bonus.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
• Strong time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes).
• Collaborate with team and residents to change up the menu.
• Keep records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Be active and on your feet for most of your shift.
