Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to help prepare meals and beverages for residents across our aged care homes in Australia. You’ll work with the team to create menus that cater to individual preferences while maintaining high food safety standards.

You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift, with responsibilities including prep, cleaning, and helping keep menus fresh and engaging for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care experience is a bonus.
• Strong time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink for residents.
• Cleaning and dishwashing as needed.
• Changing up the menu with the team and residents to cater to individuals.
• Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
