Job summary
Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Resident Field Service Technician to support customers across the South West Slopes region in NSW. You’ll work autonomously in the field with backing from a skilled service team, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Komatsu equipment to maximise uptime.
Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a tool of trade vehicle, base salary plus weekly resident allowance and superannuation.
Qualifications
- Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
- Field service experience in mining, construction or earthmoving equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability.
- Current MR Driver’s Licence.
- Experience with Komatsu equipment is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing heavy mobile equipment.
- Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown support in the field.
- Completing service reporting, job documentation and customer communication.
- Managing your own workload and coordinating jobs from start to finish.
- Providing a high level of customer service and technical support onsite.
- Working safely and contributing to Komatsu’s zero harm culture.
